W211 brake light

There were three messages that said the rear left and right brake lights are substituted with spare bulbs.

Can these LED(?)/high pressure bulb be replaced individually or do I need to replace the whole panel or take it to Merc to get it done?

I removed the tail light and test individual bulb with an avometer, it seemed to be OK. I used DAS, the error code said the actuator failed. I cleared the error codes with Quick test, all problems gone?

What going on?

In the owner manual it says the tail lamp bulbs cannot be replaced individually. It pressurised and could explode if you try to change it.

Anyone managed to change these HiP bulbs.

What is HiP bulbs anyway?
