W211 brake recall

MBUK have a new website. How nice.

And one of these nice new pages says this:

However, three months on from the general recall I have heard SFA even though my car is one of those afflicted.

I have just booked our car in for its first service. The receptionist checked to see if it also needed any further upgrades!! ""No sir, your car is up to date""

Then she asked if I had received a letter from them informing me of the latest recall? "Yes, we have".

I was then informed that Mercedes-Benz UK has not yet sent out any recalls, but my vehicle is possibly one of those effected!

So the car will be going in for a service this month and no doubt will be back in a month or so's time.
