Complete waste of time; they’re designed for cars with the steering wheel on the wrong side so actually dig into your leg when you’re driving.

I have one in my LHD E320 S211. It does open driver side for RHD.

See that doesn’t look like it would hit your leg even so?

RHD cars open the same way, it is designed for LHD as it is very difficult to remove and place a cup when sitting in the right hand seat.

I’m confused why Merc couldn’t make one that opened the other way ffs!!!

They could but their majority market is LHD so why incur the extra cost for a relatively small market share? This is common on many things on cars, wiper orientation / setup is often one.

Bought one today

I used to take the insert out of the compartment and ram a coffee cup in there.

Jimmy McGill, is that you?

I bought one of these on eBay. Yes they are designed for a left hand drive but on a long journey it’s fine to use.

If it was a manual then it’d be a pain but I suspect yours is an auto OP :)

Auto for me Alex :) and long journeys only :p

See you on the M4 ;)

It finally arrived today!

It’s great! Don’t think it’ll be a problem with spilling etc. Will report back after going for a drive.
