Hi Guys

I have all my bits for my front end. I'm changing all arms and joints. I've scheduled work for within the next two weeks. Just wanted to ask if the w211 e class has a Bentley repair manual? How can I get torque specs for bolts on front end?

Best place to get them would be from the Mercedes service manual which is WIS - Workshop Information System. I can send the pdf files to you if you let me know exactly what your planning on replacing.

Most of the the suspension bolts are torque and angle tightened on the W211 as well as most other Mercedes-Benz just for your information.

What did you mean by Bentley manual, I can't see how this is relevant?

A quick Google shows Bentley manual for all sorts of things....it's a book.... instruction manual....not related to a Bentley with a manual box....:)

It's like a haynes manual on steds?
I'm doing all the front...

1) upper ball joints
2) lower ball joints
3) inner tie rod
4) outer track rod
5) both sets of lower wish bones (That's both pairs so the 4 main arms)
6) sway bar links

All lemforder and meyle hd parts too <3... would be great if you could send the pdfs for those jobs.

Upper control arms have since been added to the list... please if anyone has the torque figures as per mercedes specification that would be highly appreciated.

Cheers Gav, what are the torque struts?

I think I know which arm the torque strut is, but then there's another set of arms, the lower rear wishbones? Do you have the the torque for these too... the shock absorber and lower ball joint bolt into this arm.

The torque arms are the front forward arms bud.

Below are the Front Rear arms (Spring control arm)

Spring control arm To axle carrier 80 nms
then 120 degrees,

Spring control arm to hub carrier 50 nms then 60 degrees

An e-Class Bentley?????
