W211 E Class estate Iron X

I washed my E Class for the first time since purchase today. Only had time for a short foam and hand wash. I did get some Bilberry wheel cleaner on, then thought I'd have a quick application of iron x. I normally only apply iron x near the wheels and front end, but a quick squirt all round resulted in it all turning purple in seconds. Is this normal, as previous cars have been black so maybe didn't show as much.
Looks like I need to clay the whole car, but it has covered 109k miles.

Yep, I'd say it's normal. The iron-x does turn purple when it's working its magic.

You would be surprised where fallout settles on the car. Lower sections obviously cop the worst of it, but roof section etc doesn't get away without some.
