Does anyone know if it is possible to change the heating control unit, one with the two round knobs in the dash, to a digital dispaly one that is available on some E classes?

Any pointers on how to remove etc?

It would be an expensive business. The two round knobs system is the normal two area Climate control, and the digital display is the four area Climate Control. The whole of the central unit is different.

Not to mention the fact that the four zone system has more heating / vents etc - check the doors next time you move between cars...

Yep the whole systems are very different, it would be major work and I'm sure you couldn't just switch the control panel.

Why do you want to do it anyway? The standard system works very well and is probably easier to adjust!
