e320 cdi, 525tds bmw,
Hi all.
Hope all is well.

Can I ask for abit help please..

W211 e220cdi injector plug, when we was taking out the injector (number 2) the wire broke on the plug itself.

Is possible to change the wiring to this number 2 injector.?
Or can it be repaired / soldered back into the plug.?

Any help would appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

Yeah you’ll get new terminals and plug connectors from mercedes, won’t be expensive. Don’t have any numbers for it though.

Cool, thanks dodipops.
& they will be colour coded wires, or ...
If I remember... the inside of the plug as 2 spade like connections that plug onto the injector, the shape of the plug is D shaped il say, like I say the wires are broke on the plug, so which wire goes to which side of the plug.?
Or if I put the wires on the plug any way around will it matter.?

Thanks dodipops / all.
Talk to you again.

I imagine you would need tool/s for the re terminating.
Have you considered buying the no2 plug with tails from a breaker and re soldering back a bit from the injector?

Hi ya m80 / all.

I got a picture of the internet of the plug,

But the wires on our plug broke off the plug, & I think are to short to just solder back to the plug, so the plug as had 2 wires soldered to the pins, but at no colour code, so when I put back the plug to the injector, just no sure what wire to put to what wire on the cable loom (il call it, the wires that are meant to be on the plug).
I've not seen the car, this is all from what my dad is saying to me.
Il be going down tomorrow, & with any luck it's all good.
So il be able to update.

Thanks all / m80.

Yes you’ll need to put the correct wire to the correct side of the plug.
The other injectors might give you a clue if the wiring is already broken from the plug.

Or ask a MB specialist on the phone to look at the wiring diagrams and tell you the correct pin locations and wire colours.

Good mornin...
Hope it's good / going well for you all.

Yeah, so....

On the plug in photo above the 2 wires had broke inside the connector, so my dad had 2 wires solder onto the pins, (cost him nothing).
When I got down to the parents the injector was in & just needed the wires connecting.
Got my magnifying glass & my god o joke or anything to see the colours on the wires (on the original loom).
I seen them anyhow.
Dark green & drak brown..
Dark brown & black.
I checked the other injectors to make sure (think like 1 of you folk say above).

So.
Green & brown went / go to the passenger side (UK car).
Brown & black to driver side.

Car started 1st time, ran / runs smooth / even. No leaks.

All good.

But in my eyes it's a bad idea tho from such a top brand car.
Black death / deisel that comes up via copper seal. Coats & bungs up & goes onto the wires to the plug.
Thought they'd of put fuel like resistant provective sheath around the wires.

But yeah, all ok now.

Thanks you lot for again your help.
Hope this helps someone.
But do mind the wires they do get brittle.

Have good safe motoring.
Thanks
