W211 E220 T Wagon Rear tailgate lock

Hi all.
I have a 2008 E 220 CDI wagon (S211), and I have a problem with my tailgate.
When I lock the car with the key (central locking), the tailgate doesn't lock. I can still open the tailgate, and then the alarm goes off.
DHas anybody been have the same problem?

I have found and erros. a DTC 9086, Control Unit N121/1 .
Does anybody know what this is `?

Did you find a solution? I think I have a similar issue, leaving the car very vulnerable out on the street!

n121/1 is the boot lock, basically. ive had trouble with mine too

In my case I found that the boot was not locking because the latch/handle gets physically stuck in. It doesn't automatically pop out and release itself. I have to 'prod' at it a bit until it finally pops out again to engage with the catch. Maybe some WD40? Or a new handle?
