    Hello my friends.

Back from a long time ,3 years away.
Again with my 6 year old car now.
I have read with STAR and this model shows "TAXI".Do not know what does the previous owner used it for.

This is an Avantgarde model .
Now I want to know what is the difference between TAXI model and normal model of W211?

Does it have any diff in ECU ,brakes ,electronic components ,..ect?

    Thanks in advance.

Doesn't it being designated as a taxi alter the service schedule, and so the service messages that show up on the dash, as taxi use is very different from regular use, i.e, very few cold starts, etc. ? (I'm asking, not telling.)

Maybe there are more pre cautions for taxi model ,defects ....ect.

My car does not have any sign of taxi usage.

Could it possibly have something to do with DPF regeneration as taxi's generally do a lot of city driving?
