Hi guys I need some advice on my car I can raise and lower the car by approx 10mm by moving the cup the spring sits on up or down the shock. I have proven that if the cup is at its lowest position (and therefore the spring at its longest) the car sits lower. The question is if I move the cup to the highest setting in the shock (and therefore the spring would be at its shortest) what would this do to the ride comfort? Would it be a harder or softer ride - thanks in advance

I'd had thought spring at the shortest would make the ride harder as there would be less give/travel in the spring.

Yes would agree but wanted to confirm before doing so, so in summary, if car sits at its lowest the car will ride it's softest and when car sits at its highest the car will ride at its hardest? So strange

lol i see what you mean, strange the car should sit higher when the spring is at it's shortest travel.

I don't think it makes a difference. It's only shorter when car is in the air and no weight on! When on ground all your doing is raising the car by moving it up which is what you want. If you measured spring length while car is down on either setting it will be same length. Hope this makes sense lads.
