Hi all

It's been like this since I bought it from Mercedes, and now its bugging me!

The analogue clock in the instrument cluster is about 17 minutes faster than the clock in the COMMAND system. Even if I move the COMMAND time forward, the analogue clock will move forward the same amount BUT still have the 17 minute error.

I've asked Mercedes whom I bought the car from and they aren't sure.

Something is out of sync here, the car is under Tier 1 warranty with Mercedes.

Anyone got any ideas?

It's quite annoying now I'm constantly reminded of it being wrong!

Cheers

P.s - When I go to the service menu in COMMAND and into the clock settings, I am unable to set the clock to the exact time I want - I know its GPS which controls it, but even if I wanted to set it incorrectly I can only do in large minute increments (maybe 20 mins) and not individual minute increments. Is this also wrong? I assumed that because its GPS controlled it knows its right?

Typically Comand only allows the time to be set at 15 minutes or 30 minutes increments to allow adjustments to the local time zone.

Sounds like your analogue clock needle has been misplaced (when someone was working to fix the mileage ;) ).
