Only bought this W211 E55 on Saturday and I've started refreshing bits already and this afternoon I made a start on the leather using the well recommended Gliptone products.

I think pictures can say a thousand words:

Looks like you could do with a little more practice TBH, so to help you out, I can make my car available for you ;)

I'll have plenty on doing the back seats as well, that'll be practice enough!

Do the cleaner and conditioner not keep getting "stuck" in the perforated holes?

Yes and no, I use a microfibre cloth to apply the conditioner and simply press on the leather when it's in the hopes and this rids it.

The cleaner is a gel applied with a pad so that doesn't seem to get stuck.

Nice results Lee - this on my to do list for the C43

I prefer engine cleaner on leather.

Brings it up like new, nice and matte.

Mix it 10:1 and scrub hard, you will be amazed.
Then use Gliptone over the top if you want.

Used gliptone on all my cars, perforated, heated, etc, no probs, small nail brush for the light leathers with ingrained dirt
