Notice the lead coming out of the boot for a flat battery?
Do your homework and don't buy with your heart.

The performance will make you want the first one drive, but take your time and get the best you can afford.
As Gav says, check the service records thoroughly. A well looked after one is hard to find now. Too many thrashed or poor ones around.

Well the gentleman postponed on me, i quizzed him the trickle charger and apparently as he doesn't use the car much (+/-5k miles in 5yrs) previous battery died so got himself one of these.
He assures me all paper work in order (we'll see), but my biggest fear is as you say the performance will make me want to take the first one i drive...
