Hi All,
New to the forum & apologies if this problem has been asked about before, but I am at a bit o a loose end with this and I suspect STAR is the way unless someone can pinpoint he problem from what I describe.
From the outset, I have removed F9 fuse, I have disconnected the battery and I am fully aware of ALL settings in relation to the lighting in the settings menu in the dash and all are set right, that is to say i do not have permenant headligh circuit activated, the interior light settings are set for delay and the problem isnt with the settings, but .....
Last night I was going along and noticed that the halos were not working and at about the same time the main courtesy light started to flicker on and off. I stopped and then did the whole lock up and leave for a while thing to do a soft reset. I got in and then the halos worked for a while then went off, then the left hand side of the courtesy light started going off as i was going along. i pressed the switches in the overhead panel on and off and this had little effect. then it all went dark, and then the foot well lights came on then went off, it was like a disco in there lol. Then the command went to day time mode and lit up.
Anyways the result was that when i got back i played withit a bit, though it was late and at the time the rear map reading lights worked by the switch, but not the main courtesy in the rear. Also the sunroof doesnt work, or didnt.
I say didnt because this morning i unlocked the car and the halos worked on unlock, the lights all came on except the drivers side of the front courtesy, and the lights in the door are still not working when the door is opened. Now also this morning the command is in nightmode and even though it is perfectly light out there, the lights are staying on in auto mode, but i can switch them off manually. its almost like the stupid thing thinks day is night and vice versa lol ????
I know this is long winded, but the car is definately a little confused - I am just home for lunch and have left the battery unplugged and will plug it back in having given it a good 45 minutes to see if this will hard reset things, but i am not holding me breath .....
anyone got any ideas ?
