Over past four weeks (orange) engine warning light has lit up about three times in cluster while driving my 270CDi. When this happens I can't rev above 2500 but car still does 80 on motorway – clearly it's in limp home mode though 80 is hardly limp! If I turn car off completely and restart then light will stay on for a minute or so then go off. Car will run normally for a week or so then similar scenario happens again. No faults come up on cluster. Any ideas on what the problem is? Read a post somewhere saying it could be the brake light switch though not sure if that's what it is or why. Your help much appreciated.
