A friends 211 E320 CDI had a slight frontal accident, nothing major and easily fixed.

But, the air suspension pump bracket broke, again an easy fix. BUT, now the suspension won't pump up. The pump can be fed a direct live and work fine, the rear raises ok.

Error on the ECU is 'C1350 - Air Suspension pressure relieve valve' (I think), nobody seems to know what this is, or means, least of all Mercedes.

A brand new pump has been fitted, but it still won't work.

We know the pump works, but there's something between the ECU and the pump that isn't.

Any ideas? Does some computer somewhere need resetting? The battery has been left off for ages, this hasn't done anything.

The release valve is in the pump I think.

You probably have a leak on the pipes or at the bellows. Does the pump run at all?

Yes, the old pump runs fine when you give it power :thumb: The rear rises as it should.

It's just persuading the darn ECU to give it power. :wallbash:

Where are the bellows?

After replacing the SAN box at the rear of the car, still no joy.

Eventually located yet another fusebox in the footwell and found a burnt fuse in there.

Tah dah!! Suspension now working.

Why are there so many blummin' fuse boxes in these cars !!

Can someone tell me were is the footwell of the car my air suspesion is not working either

The fuse for the air suspension pump is located under the carpet on the drivers side . The access the fuse the carpet has to be removed , then there is a plastic cover beside where the battery cable attaches . There will be fuses under this cover , there large blade fuses , the suspension will be a 40 amp fuse
