Hi

Does anyone happen to know what this fuse is used for in an e55 2003?

Fuse diagrams online state its for the 12v socket in the boot and uses a 15amp fuse. However mines has a 40amp fuse there but can’t find anything to confirm what its for

Hopefully the two pics of the rear fusebox are useful. I had these printed when I owned my 2004 E55.

Fuse F12 should be 15amp and its for the Cargo Area connector box.

Ah you legend! Thanks for that. X58/4 was also what I was seeing about for this fuse slot. No idea why someone put a 40 amp in there, probably does nothing.

Just looked at my E55, and I have no fuse at all in slot 12.

Could be a fused socket in the boot area for a cooling box?
