W211 Front Engine Bay SAM cable sleeve

Hi,

I was routing some wires from interior into engine bay and noticed a "wedge bag" someone put in between the wires from the open hole to and from the engine bay behind the SAM unit. My question is, isn't there supposed to be some kind of rubber cable sleeve or grommet here? I can't seem to find any part diagram to support this nor did I take any pictures (Foolishly)
