Hi. I got the ipod cable in glovebox. If I connect with this adapter from photo will it work? Anyone tried that?

I have the same in mine, connected to my little old iPod and it works fine.
But what I mean is if I can connect this adapter to the ipod cable in glovebox and than connect my phone via Bluetooth?

I got one connected to my iPod connection in the glovebox. Works ok, you will need to turn up the volume on the head unit though, but great for convenience.

I`m trying to do exactly the same thing here, but it seems there`s no power coming to the bluetooth dongle.
Strange thing is when i select AUX on the Audio 20 it has the telephone icon there, (i also have the Merc phone adapter in the centre console)

The previous owner must have had an iPod setup at one time as the wiring is in there along with a Merc iPod cradle
