W211 non permanent power

Evening all, fairly new to the W211 (have a W124 for sometime now) and I do love an good E- Class!!!
I’m trying to hardwire a dash cam but seem to notice that the fuses on the drivers side are all permanent. So I then tried from the cigarette lighter socket, but so was that. I also switched over fuse 54 and still permanent.
I’m kind of going crazy now trying to figure it out!
Does it mean I have to run a supply from the boot?
The plan was to run a dash cam and also a Pure Highway 600.
Any advise would be a great help!

Morning Ted, as the cigarette lighter is constant power won’t I have the same issue?

Thanks for that, I’ve had another look and mine is always on… as is the radio and climate control (Rest mode)
