I suppose given the amount of time I drive at night, they always seem to keep blowing (every couple of months or so) - both bulbs and LED types.

The LED ones looks like they burn out somehow, when taken out there looks like brown/black marks on around the circuit board.

Can anyone recommend any suggestions for longer lasting ones?

Thanks.

Recommendation: check your voltage, as it sounds to me that bulb quality is not your root cause. The standard incandescents are fairly low-stressed bulbs and should last for years on average.

Try Killerhertz - send him a PM

Irrelevant where you get your lamps (Bulbs grow in gardens!) if you have a voltage problem. :D

I can count on one hand the amount of tail lamps etc I've needed to replace in nearly 30 years of car ownership.

Sumats wrong up stream OP. ;)

Deleted my post, after reading your quote again I realised I am an idiot and did not read your comments correctly!
