W211 oil question

Morning folks, a quick question which i am sure will have been asked before, i have recently purchased a new toy (w211 e320) which i have been looking for for a while with the right spec etc. Anyway enough of that, which brand oil would you recommended for the vehicle as i want to give it a full service. Its got full service history and has been run on 5w30.

You needn't worry too much about brand as long as it meets MB 229.51 spec.
MB 229.5 will do if you don't have a DPF, but in truth that's rare to find in my experience.

For value you might use the 20 litres supplied by MB Edinburgh

It depends if you want stock for the future.

MB Newcastle do good deals also, both can be good for more than oil.

Thanks guys i ended up buying 10 litres from Mercedes Newcastle @ £46 posted which i thought was a good deal so happy with that
