W211 Radio with fibre optic convrt to Android 5.1

Just bought a 2003 w211 e320 , radio screen is blank,radio works fine though,,I bought a aftermarket Android 5.1 touchscreen ,,,,only to find my stereo has fibre optic connection at back ,,not the normal radio iso wiring connector..Is it possible to still fit the Android unit,,, if so how do i do it...Appreciate any help

Hi, thread bounce but did you overcome this problem? I have bought an Xtrons head unit and come across the same problem. They sell a fibre cable to overcome this but I fear it's a bit more complicated than being plug and play as there seems to be an amp deep in the boot on the passenger side in the wing.

I think at the least I need to run an ariel cable back there [emoji20]

From what i've read you have two options - re-cable the speakers to the head unit cutting out the MOST fibre bus, or buy an Analogue to Fibre interface allowing left/right inputs to be passed over the fibre bus to the boot amp - see this as an example - https://incartec.co.uk/Pages/Product.aspx?P=4913
