W211 rear light cluster

Hi guys my dad has 2004 w211 e220 cdi in avant-garde spec. One of the rear light lenses is broken and a bulb is gone out anyway.

I know the whole board needs to be replaced but I want to replace the whole unit since its broken. I can't figure out if its LED lights or not, he's far away so I can't get to him to disassemble and check

The breaker told him all avant-garde are LED but when I took a pic through the broken bit one of the bulbs is halogen? Apparently they have both?

Any help would be appreciated as I want to order one off ebay to be delivered so I can fit it for him next weekend.

Avantgarde has both, only the brake light (top) will be LED.

You just have to replace the board with the halogen bulbs and transfer the LED over to the new tail light.
