W211 Saloon Rear Lights

Hi all,

have had a good look round the forum and have found very little info on this so am asking for some help!

Both my rear lights have an assortment of dead insects in them and I'd like to remove them. So, the very basic question is, what is the easiest way to get to the clusters?

I take it the lining has to be removed but I don't want to break fasteners etc if their is an easy way!

I know this might seem a bit 'noddy' but any help appreciated.

The fasteners are removable aren't they? So that they can be fitted back in. Just take them out carefully. You will have to remove the lining to get access to the lights and undo the lights from the inside to remove from the car.

Sometimes people have found 'easier' ways to do these normally straight-forward jobs!
