W211 Seats

I have a 57 plate W211Classic which has MBtex seats, the drivers seat has split on the side boulster, I am aware that this is the facelift model but I have seen the seat cover for a 2006 Avantgarde for sale at a fraction of the £280 Mercedes require for another vinyl cover ( which will probably split in another few thousand miles). Were there any major changes to the seat size from 2006 to 57, the covers look the same.
Can anyone assist?
