Wanted.

A00010921004

It's a sensor that plugs into the steering rack for a w211 e320 cdi.

Thank you.

Can anyone confirm if this was replaced by A2114600984

A2114600984 is what you are after.
Do you know if this was since updated to:

A2214600184

There appears to be three part numbers floating about. A00010921004 isn't even in the merc catalogue but it was on the part.

What Merc. Catalogue are you looking at?

You profile says E320 so if this is a 211.022 then:
Part number A2114600884 Replaced by A2114600984

A2214600184 shows as for later vehicles with 4Matic. ;)

Thank you, was using that 7zap site.

Perils of using 7zap since I'm assumng it is stick in time at xx point.
I'd always advise finding a part number, having a friendly parts guy at a mian dealer and calling him with the part number and reference on the drawing.
He will tell you if the part is current.

That's the difference between the two, it's a 300 pound part that's dealer only. I picked this up from a breakers. Right is A2214600184. You can see the shaft is skinnier but everything else lines up. I'm gonna go ahead and try it anyway as my car is holding up the ramp. I will report back on any issues or change in sensation.

I wouldn't bother with a breakers for a part like this, too much hassle.
It's a Thomas Magnete solenoid.

Plenty advertised for sale from various sources.

Indeed.

I got the email address for my local parts guy, so I just send emails instead haha.
