w211 smelly air con

Hi All,
I have a awfull smell coming from the air con system on the above car, I have tried the spray Halfords which should kill the bacteria present.. admittantly its better but still stinks..

can anyone point me to the pollen filter location and the drain as I have noted that there is no liquid left under the car once the air con has been on for a while.

My pollen filter (03 model) is the black box back right of the engine room. 10mm plastic nut to release on the turret. Lid hinges up and out.

Ok.. I have checked that filter and it looks clean...as I don't see any liquid appearing under the car when it is stationary.. I presume the drains are blocked...

I can't say I've ever noticed too much water appearing from under my car except maybe when there is high prevailing humidity. Not a common occurence where I stay it has to be said.
Maybe there's another reason for the smell: I wouldn't know what though.

thanks Andy.. I beleive the drains are blocked, do you know the location of the drain hose on the w211.. I did use one of the halfords sprays and it did make it better.. but if I go round a sharp bend the smell returns for a sec or 2 thru the vents.. making me beleive the drain is blocked somewhere.
