W211 Wiper Blades

hi all

Just used my wifes 2002 W211 and noticed thath the wiper blades are worn and squeeky, my wifes says "they're suppossed to sound like that"

Just hoping that one of you guys could point me in the direction of:

A: which wiper blades I should be buying
B: which WWW is the best one to buy from

Go to your nearest Merc Dealer, they are not as expensive as you may think and I find them the best blades...

Just checked and earlier this month I paid £27.44 including VAT at my local dealer for a pair for my R230 which are the same as the blades for the W211.

Are they the same as the 230? I paid £40 for a pair for my 211 from the local MB dealership - but, whatever price you are quoted, you may as well buy them from MB - I could not find these special blades (in the correct size) on sale anywhere even after hours of surfing.

The original R230 part number for my car was A230 820 07 45 but this has been replaced by A211 820 15 45 which is also a W211 part. I think there are different W211 part numbers depending on chassis number tho'. Still circa £30 as this was around what I paid when I had my 2003 W211.

I changed mine by buying from eBay just the rubber they claimed to be genuine, it not and it squeky. Better to buy from dealer or Bosch flat blade or from Euro car parts
