Dashboard display indicates " display faulty visit workshop" no lights or washers Front passenger side
Mercedes Weybridge diagnose using STAR that the SAM is not talking to the headlamp
Explain problem to Mercedes Tonbridge, order new SAM
2 days and after 2 hr way informed it's not the SAM and we don't know what it is , we'll need the car for 2 days
Erroneously buy used headlamp from Dronsfields at £150
Local garage ( good) fit used lamp - problem not solved . Try original unit and used unit on drivers side.
Both units working perfectly. As local garage doesn't have STAR called out Paul Emmett ( Mobile Mercedes )of Tunbridge Wells
Diagnosed problem without using STAR INSIDE 10 mins
Didn't realise and can find no reference to it on any of the forums but there is another control unit for the left hand headlamp independent of the SAM located in the passenger footwell. This is only for Xenon headlamps
Checked ,changed , problem solved
