W211 Xenons levelling gone crazy

Hi there,

I seem to have a problem with the auto levelling function of my E320CDI Avantgarde - as soon as I start driving both beams start going up and down constantly but when car is stationary they are fine.

Since both are going up and down the mechanism seems to be fine but looks like I may need to do a reset or something.

I left the car off overnight but it doing the same the next day. Anyone any ideas?

Front or rear axle mounted level sensor broken or disconnected.

Many thanks for the link, I've managed to locate it on the front right axle. It was rusted and broken so needs replacing. Is this dealer part only? Had a look on Euro and Gsf but can't find a listing.
