I'm hoping someone can help me with a key unlock problem.
I have a 2014 W212 where they key sometimes does not unlock using RF, but will unlock when I point it at the IR receiver on the door. I have 2 keys and it's the same for both. I've replace batteries and successfully reset the keys. The problem is intermittent and seems to happen most commonly if I haven't unlocked the car for a longer period, e.g. overnight, versus if I've just driven somewhere, parked and immediately used the key to unlock. It always works with IR, so I wonder if it's problem on the car receiver side?
