W212 Air Con Problems

Hi,
I have a 2013 W212 E250 CDI, recently the air con stopped blowing cold and the radiator fan is constantly going at full speed.
I was going to just book it in for an air con regas but decided to check for any codes or anomalies before I did.
Refrigerant pressure seems really high at 30 bar. Am I right in thinking this is likely the pressure sensor? Don’t want to regas it to have to have it done again after changing this.
I’ve owned the car for about 5 years and it’s never had an air con service in this time, but has always worked fine.

I really hope your compressor isn't shot, I had to have mine replaced and it cost 1.3k incl labour and vat.

Usually refrigerant pressure sensor fails and makes fan run all the time in emergency, your pressure value confirms that

Well I’ll get the refrigerant drained, replace the pressure sensor and get a regas as a first port of call.
Hopefully that fixes it. I’ll be back to update when I’ve tried it.

Replaced air con pressure sensor and regassed air con.
Now working as expected and the fan is no longer on full speed.
Around £60 all in so not bad at all.

Do you have the part number ? Mine seems to run cold on lo but anything above that is a bit hit and Miss can be just hot etc

Now the the aircon is fixed keep it on summer and winter.
The aircon on my 05 CLK is on all the time and never been repaired.
