W212 air suspension lowering via dealer

£1000 to lower a car because "it looks like it is on stilts" sounds like great value for money to me*

Then you can say your car has been "stanced"*

It was actually far more than £1000 so even better value in your eyes.

They work to a spec set by the manufacturer. As I understand it, WIM work to resolve any issues specific to vehicle/user/road conditions.

Mb techs have to abide by MB guidelines. Nothing more nothing less. Adverse tyre wear can be down to many factors that people forget about.

1. Cheapo tyres
2. Driving like a nutter
3. Worn suspension joints
4. Poor crash repairs/alignments
5. Wrong wheel offsets
6. Badly fitted suspension parts
7. Poor quality suspension parts
8. Incorrect tyre pressures

The last one being the most common.

There is probably more that I have forgotten about.
