Hi Everyone.

Sorry about the long post..

I have been researching this for the past 2 days but still as confused as I was before I started.
I have a 2015 W212 E220 estate.
Current wheel set up is :

Front: 8.5jx18 H2 ET 48
Rear: 9.5j x 18 H2 ET 54

Now I want to upgrade the alloys to 19", so having checked the manual it shows what size Alloys I should be looking for which are
Front : 8.5jx19 H2 ET 48
Rear : 9.5j x 19 H2 ET 48

The ones I want are the turbine style ones and only want the genuine ones rather then aftermarket. I have searched and searched but can't find any with the same offset.
If I go for the CLS ones then their measurements are :
Front : 8.5jx19 H2 ET 34.5
Rear : 9.5j x 19 H2 ET 48

As you can see the front offset is off by about 14mm meaning they will stick out almost 1.5cm.
Will this make a significant difference to the drive or handling or will the even rub on the fender..?

The other option is to have the following :

Rear... A2184011200
Rim 95.X19 ET45
ALLOY WHEEL from MERCEDES CLS 19


Front : A2054011400
Off a Mercedes C CLASS AMG Turbine 19"
8.5j x 19 ET52

Can I use 1 pair from a C class and another pair from a CLS..?
If anyone is selling the turbine wheels that would fit my car please get in touch.

I appreciate any help /input.

Also due to the fact that they are are almost 3k and without tires and that they are not the turbine ones.

Feel your pain. 3k for wheels/tyres!? I don’t think so.
 
My wheels are 19x8.5 et48 up front and i test fitted a 15mm wheel spacer so Et would be 33 overall and after lowering the front by 25mm it don't rub but i removed them because to me it sticks out a bit to much so its useable but personal preference on this one and i binned them off if you do go for them your need 10mm spacers on the rear to make them look somewhat even down the side of the car otherwise it will make your car look like its missed leg day at the gym...
 
Have you quoted 2 x CLS rear offsets? If so, the 19" ET of 48 is the same as you quoted E Class.

There is nothing wrong with using a pair of C Class fronts. Albeit the wheels would be inboard by approx 4mm.

Spacers are always an option. Used by many whilst avoided by others. Key here are (1) good quality/design (2) correct bolt length.

The picture show one of my favourite rim designs. Hard to find preowned. Would expect a genuine unmarked set on EBay/elsewhere to be very strong money.

A word of caution - these are in the top 3 that are prone to cracking.
 
I'd stick with the 18s if I were you - more comfortable, quieter, cheaper tyres and less prone to cracked rims.
