W212 BATTERY LIGHT

Hi all

this has just come up. Any idea if I have a Auxiliary battery as I have stop/start in my car
I have noticed that stop/start isn’t coming up quiet regular whilst driving.
since this light came on 20 minutes ago, the command automatically switched off.
anyone else experienced this issue and how have you solved it!

This means a battery charging fault, but the issue itself could be a faulty battery (main or auxiliary), a faulty alternator, or faulty battery control module.

You can start by measuring the voltage on both batteries. If you don't see an obvious fault with either battery, then you'll need to get the car connected to STAR and scanned for fault codes.
