W212 Boost issues 2011 E350 Cdi

Hello MB gurus!

I have a 2011, W212 (S212) E350Cdi estate.
Has an issue, worse when cold, but still does it when warm.

I can accelerate and there will be no power, and then all off a sudden a small poof black smoke, and it's like i have been flung into maximum warp 😂

So my car has been in a local garage, and they replaced the turbo actuator, as the one that was on there from the previous owner as an eBay special, and also replaced the metal intake pipe to the turbo and new seal.

Looks like the previous owner has also replaced the actuator (wiht the eBay one) and replaced the EGR valve.
The turbo seals are new too.

I have borrowed a Xentry diag machine, and no current or stored faults show.
It looks like someone has been in previous too, reset the values on the DPF to try and force regen, as all values for Ash/soot are zero.

I went in to the boost sensor and carried out a test on it, at idle was ok ( i think) but when actuated, the values go red. But then this is intermittent.
Also same kind if thing with the exhaust back pressure sensor, when engine off or idle, it shows 4786hPa in red, and then once the car was up to optimal running temps, and when driving, it showed 1526hPa, which this figure was within the parameters.

Any help/guidance would be appreciated, as when it's running, damn she's smooth as ever.

I a presure sensor is showing anything else than 1ATM when engine NOT running, is that sensor is duff.

Are reading changing rationally? Also DPF values? Just thinking if DPF has been removed...

I'm having a similar issue. 2011 E220.

I've had the DPF removed, EGR deleted and stage 1 re-mapped. Was fine for a month until a few days ago. I've kept the car in S mode but now it happens in S mode as well.

Should I get the EGR replaced?

Sometimes when in high gears, between 50-70 and at 2000 RPM, the car will trip into limp mode. If I pull over and turn the car off and then back on it is on fine until it happens again. I resolve this by fully pressing the accelerator.

Had this on my 09 E220 but was resolved when they cleaned the turbo out and they had to replace the starter motor.

Better speak to whoever did all that work buddy ?
 
yeah, any diagnose is 10x harder when remapped and modified... can't rely on ANY reading you get... only programmer knows what has been tampered.
