W212 Coupe - Video Playback?

Hi folks, I have a W212 Coupe with the Audio 20 headunit and the media interface.

If I buy the media interface plus, can I playback video on the screen? Or would I need the comand system to do that?

Hey there Jamie.. as far as I know you need comand for video playback, plus there's getting around the way the system disables video when you're travelling anyway.

There are a few guys on here who should be able to tell you more, I had a look at the media interface plus but for what it would cost I wouldn't get much gain out of adding it on.

As the W207 / W212 Ipod Video kit is only support by cars with Comand I think it will be the same for media interface plus.

Alfie from Comand Online will be able to confirm.

Ah okay - bugger! If only Comand wasn't such an expensive option maybe more used cars would have it (i.e. mine!). Thanks guys.
