W212 E CLASS 214 NAVI UPDATES

Hi all,
firstly sorry if iv posted this in the wrong thread.

I have a 2014 w212 E class, the maps havnt been updated at all, all working fine but id like to update them. Im very new to this so alittle push in the right direction would be great. I can see lots of sellers on ebay selling SD cards to update but im alittle worried to buy the wrong one and brick my satnav or something haha.

I think im asking how to find out which one i need or which satnav i have, think i see GARMIN and another one.

My REG is LO14 MVU if it helps at all.

When i search for E class 2014 in Mercedes benz navigation site it shows i need Mercedes-Benz NTG4.5 COMAND and its $99

As above. The latest version of maps for COMAND NTG4.5/4.7 is v19.0.

If, however, your car does not have COMAND, then it will have the Audio20 system with the optional Garmin Map Pilot navigation on SD-Card. The maps update is then done by buying a new SD-Card.

Also keep in mind that your car will have the TomTom Live Traffic option, which is subscription-based and will need to be renewed (if you are interested in it).
