For a while now I've been trying my best to like the W212 interior, but it just doesn't flow.

Then today I was looking at Moff's lovely C class and it dawned on me.

The centre vents are the wrong way up on the W212, taking away the continuity that the C has.

I think the C steering wheel is better too.

Shame really, and the 2014 model is no better.

The C207 (E Coupe) seems to be different yet again.

John, a 204 C class pre facelift is different yet again. Uninspiring to look at, but everything just falls to had. The C207 is 204 based, and the COMAND/Audio 20 sits above the air vents.

Its a master peace ergonomics but not of flair.

Having had W212 and W207 I found both were ergonomically fine

PS The W212 Sport has that W204 steering wheel :D

I think the E is messy, but that's good news about the steering wheel.

I think you might be better waiting for the W213 when it comes out or getting a BMW 535d or Audi A6 Biturbo TDi 3.0.

With oppposition like that, I would not consider an E class now. As you know I have the most discerning car taste known to man, so you know this is an opinion you can trust.

Will still have that dash you do not like. But better seats. But get one with black headlining, thats putrescent in there
