W212 E220D Throttle Butterfly Location

Can anyone tell me where it is please and how to remove for cleaning.

If it is an OM651 then it is on the inlet manifold and hard to reach.

Is it possible to take off the silver bit of the EGR from above and use spray cleaner?

Not sure how

Just had the EGR mapped out. The cars done 100k in central London traffic. The air intake will be full of soot as with the butterfly valve I would suspect.

I'd like to maximise performance and economy by maximising air flow.
