I have an odd problem with my E330 (63 plate, FMBSH). When it's cold outside (less than 4 deg C), the gearbox won't shift into D1 or R straightaway. It knows that I have pressed the brake pedal etc, but won't shift until warmed up for about 5 minutes.
Is this a sign of something worse?
I had a new gearbox last year as it died (only 80k miles!) so it that part is still under MB warranty. The problem is the cheeky sods want £££ to check.
