W212 E350 CDI not shifting till 2500 - 3000 revs

Hi all, I started having an issue today in my 2009 E350 CDI with 140,000 miles on it, my drive into work was fine, 25 mins wish with A roads and motorway, shifting and power was fine.

I stopped the engine for about 5-10 minutes and ever since then it will not shift to the next gear until 2500 - 3000 revs however I can make the shift with the paddles.

There is also no kick down and just before I come to a stop there is a jolt when the gearbox shifts back down.

Wondering if anyone has any ideas what this could be? I did the gearbox learning reset but that made no difference, neither does the sport button. I have also recently had a gearbox service at my local (ish) specialist, MBS in Woolston.

Thanks, I'm guessing they will be closed next Monday, but will try tomorrow. Just done a short journey and was fine again I just know when I take it in it will be working as it should. No engine light or service messages either. Hoping it will be OK to drive till it is sorted...
