W212 e350 coupe sat nav

Hi im new to the forums and have been looking at changing my standard audio unit to the single disk sat nav unit. Couple of questions, firstly is it possible to change it myself or would you advise a company fitting it, and secondly will i need to get the unit coded to my car and if so any recomendations on where i can get this done?
