Oh, I thought you were replying to me saying I wished they still offered the E500 in estate form.

Yeah I should have made that a bit clearer.

E400 Estate with or without 4Matic would be ideal for the OP.

I'm a big fan of this engine having tried it in the SL we ordered. I was considering an SL500 until I drove the 400 - it's plenty fast enough to a degree that I'd need to go to Germany or a test track to benefit from the extra a 500 would give, including the noise.
