Hence why MSL limited yours to around 660-670ish bhp when they can make 720That was my experience with a remapped M157. Totally trouble free in 3 yrs until I sold it.

True. Acid asked if I was happy with 666 and said he could tweak the map to give extra if I wanted it.Hence why MSL limited yours to around 660-670ish bhp when they can make 720
Oh yes got mine yesterday. Forgot to mention it to my mechanic who had the car in todayThe safety recall is apparently in reference to 3 bolts holding the power steering motor. Got my letter today, you may get some coming through the post
The safety recall is showing on the MOT history, will have to be done buddy, that's another trip and time out to the dealerOh yes got mine yesterday. Forgot to mention it to my mechanic who had the car in today
Wonder what cars it effectsThe safety recall is apparently in reference to 3 bolts holding the power steering motor. Got my letter today, you may get some coming through the post
I quite like going to the merc epsom dealer just so I can hear the sound from the exhaust when they drive it away to work on it and bring it back hahahaThe safety recall is showing on the MOT history, will have to be done buddy, that's another trip and time out to the dealer
Will probably be quite a few I reckon, maybe cls or models around that era, they might stagger the recall to avoid a panic.Wonder what cars it effects
Recall booked in for the following week. Apparently they take ages to sort it once at the dealer and I'll have to pick a courtesy car and leave mine overnight at least according to the service team at mb epsom. I'll ask if I can use the c63 Black series sitting on their lot as a courtesy car , after all it is a downgrade on my car so I'll be doing them a favourWill probably be quite a few I reckon, maybe cls or models around that era, they might stagger the recall to avoid a panic.
Touchwood, they should book you up with a new courtesy car for the day. My neighbours were given a brand new CLA wagon on a 71 plate when their car went in for a service, looked really nice. Hopefully they shouldn't keep your car in for any longer than needed and will be a peace of mind once sortedRecall booked in for the following week. Thanks , I don't mind putting on mileage on their car if they drag their heels haha. Sadly my BMW probably won't have its coolant issue fixed by then otherwise I'd prefer to get the top down in this weather and listen to it trying to sound like a proper v8 I think the BMW will need to lose its resonator and mufflers next. I'm 45 going on 16 , can't expect anything less from meTouchwood, they should book you up with a new courtesy car for the day. Had my steering rack recall done, dropped the car off on a Friday and it was done by Monday. In the interim I had a a200 brand new saloon as a courtesy car. Felt far too sensitive on the throttle and brakes, my car is so lazy . Touch the throttle on the a200 and it lurches forward in comfort mode lol. Anyhow the interior with mbux is stunning looking. Simply wow
Annoyingly merc did their usual free health check and identified a small split in the tread of the tyre they're saying would fail an MOT. Im annoyed as these tyres are barely a year old with not much mileage on them. Goodyear Eagle F1 supersport.
Was it merely a case of replacing the bolts or did they do more? Mine is booked in on Thursday for the same recall.Had my steering rack recall done, dropped the car off on a Friday and it was done by Monday. The parking sensors are also on point finally. I hate the sensor set up on all the "older" mercs i have owned this far. In the A200 you get a visual of the whole car on the screen and proximity of objects all around the car. All the other mercs ive driven are pants, you have to look at the rear view mirror for the rear sensor proximity reading or the dashboard next to the front window for the fronts, and you only get left or right readings. Absolute rubbish implementation by mercedes. My 2005 BMW has much better visuals for parking sensors than all the mercs ive owned (around 6 of them). Sorry for the rant hahaGood excuse to get some PS4S's fitted. Michelin have a deal on, buy 2 and get £24 or buy 4 and get £60 cash back have a look on Camskill. Got a full set delivered for £830.
Unfortunately due to a radar fault mine has been back and forth to Mercedes, happy to say it's now sorted yet spent far to much time in various A200's and I'm not a fan of the current infotainment systems, think most manufactures are trying to hard and the systems are dangerous. Have to spend to much time looking at a huge screen to figure out what and where the feature is rather than looking at the road.
They gave me a sheet with all the parts they replaced (there seemed to be quite a few), cant remember but it was only bits relating to the steering rack I believe. Was it merely a case of replacing the bolts or did they do more? Mine is booked in on Thursday for the same recall.
