They gave me a sheet with all the parts they replaced (there seemed to be quite a few), cant remember but it was only bits relating to the steering rack I believe.
The Recall work was done on my CLS63 last week. They didn’t provide any paperwork and said the recall info will be undated so it doesn’t appear on the MOT database. They explained the problem being the magnesium bolts and that all 5 have been replaced.
They also did the “free” inspection and highlighted a worn front roll bar link so I had it replaced. I also bought a new B Pillar trim as one has started to go flat and a new air intake pipe, as the paper section started to separate when I removed it to clean around the engine bay last week.
On collecting the car I was greeted by a very impressed Service Manager who absolutely loved the car and commented on its great condition. He mentioned that when he first joined MB in 2015 the first car that made a big impression on him was a CLS63 S!! Fantastic to hear this given most of the cars in the showroom were £100k plus.
