2014 C63 AMG
Hi all, recently picked up a 15 plate E63 AMG Wagon in black . Had it a few weeks and there's a few bits to get sorted and then I'll get some pictures up. In the meantime I'd love to see who has what and what tweaks if any have been Carried, so post them up 👍

The alloys on mine have been refurbished at some point so considering going for the polished face or for the S variant in either matte grey or black. Would be great to see some on a black car

I had the black wheels on black and rather liked them

Looking forward to seeing what you do to your wagon.
I do like that, were they inner segment matte or gloss black?

I've ordered a set of genuine emblems as a previous owner removed them. Not cheap but I know they are correct size and version for the model. Booked in with Ed for a paint correction and although the car made 600 on the RR I'm trying to convince myself not to map it and put the money into PS4S all round and a LSD

IIRC they were matte black on the inner rims. I've seen plenty that have had a refurb and lost the silver lip. Once that has gone they look very ordinary.
Good plan to get an LSD and replace the godawful P Zero's before thinking about a remap. Get used to, and enjoy the immense power it already has.
One word of caution, if you do remap it and are an honest guy, be prepared to have difficulty when its time to sell. Most prospective owners want a stock engine. I was lucky the guy who bought mine was going to use MSL to remap whatever he bought so mine having had it done saved him £1k:D. I declared it had been remapped in my advert, but could easily have passed it off as stock to an unsuspecting buyer.

This is the thing, mine have been done and with it debadged it may as well be a E320d. Torn on the polished lip or being black if the full polished face would suit. Completely agree the P Zero's arent the best.

I can imagine the market for a E63 is small and only made smaller if its mapped. I suppose to the right buyer it will be an added bonus as per your situation but for the masses it will be an off put.

Not a fan of black wheels, probably an age thing ;)
Mine are standard 19s on Goodyear Eagle F1s now. 2014 model. Car is tenorite grey metallic , but looks almost black in these photos so may give you an idea of the lookIMG_20220626_202500_resized_20220626_082829086.jpeg

Thanks, that's a big help, do you happen to have something side on?

Close up pic of the black ones. Is there nobody who can refurb yours and get the silver lip reinstated? 20210813_151641[1].jpg

Had mine for 7 months, it's currently 25k on the clock, fairly low mileage for its age and smells like a new car too. In the short time of ownership I did a few tasteful mods to bring it up to the way i wanted it to look 🙂

These were the ones that came with my car, I think the rear wheels are slightly wider and different offset to the front too.

Diamond cut with Himalaya Grey looks superb.
Is that the grey that's in Charliecloud post 9

Thanks, the fronts are 255 and rear 285 tyre, not sure of the rim width. Just need to decide, between going S variant with a matte black or grey inner. Or the polished fronts again with ether the black or grey...... Choices choices
