W212 E63 Race Start

So I was in the country side over the weekend, not a car in sight so thought I'd try out the race start. No matter what I tried, it would never highlight RS.

Oil temp was around 100, steering wheel straight, traction in sport mode and then off. However, no matter what I did it would never scroll past Manual. This is on a 2015 W212 if that makes any difference to the process.

Yeah it was in sport handling mode

Yeah that’s what I followed, hence my confusion why I couldn’t get it to work

It's a good excuse to have another go now
I've had my E63 close on two years and still haven't tried a race start either.

Yeah I thought visibility is great, weather conditions are perfect and not a car in sight. No matter what I tried I could never get it to engage though...
