Hi guys,

Long time no post... ill try keep it short and sweet so your not reading a million pages to get to the bottom of whats wrong.

So basically the problem.
I have struts/springs up front (Lowered on H&R's) and rear air thats lowered using link bars.
Long story short a pothole was hit and it was big enough to bend the wheel, after collecting the car and driving it, it now sits wonky.
Basically the drivers side sat around 50mm higher than the passanger side and the car physically looked terrible.
I borrowed a Star machine and i attempted doing a level reset, upon using Star to level the car i found that the passanger side bag wont inflate or deflate using Star, i can only raise or lower the drivers side... i also dont get any of the random noises the air system makes when its sat still.... there are no warning on the dash or codes saved in Star.
I have no idea what it is and even though its all getting repaired through the council Mercedes wont touch the car due to it being lowered.... so i am asking here to see if anyone knows what it could possibly be?

Thanks ever so much.

Tom

Hi Tom.

Potentially lowering link damaged or air spring would be my first port of call.

Hi Tom.

It's what i was thinking, but it cant be the bag as surely it would leak all its air out eventually? maybe its relying on one side to keep the level, so pumps up the drivers side a bit more to compensate.
It can only be the bag or the one way valves in the line as it wont inflate or deflate using STAR, compessor works fine as does all the other air functions!
Where is the best specialist for getting a quote put together to repair all this damage? Merc are being awkward and MSL are a long drive away from me unfortunately.

is the link attached still?
if its not raising then it could be the bag - or there may be an error code that needs resetting before it will do it.
The shock doesn't raise or drop just stiffens so shouldn't be that.

let us know how you get on.
